Soccer Leagues Information
There are many options to consider when betting soccer and there are things you need to know.
Let's start with a typical example of a soccer betting line. You should be aware that there are two different types of soccer lines, goal lines and money lines. Usually you are going to see the draw included as part of the money line.
Manchester United -160
Arsenal +450
Draw +240
Total 2.5
This is an example of the three-way soccer betting line. If you liked Manchester United you would be risking $160 for every $100 you wanted to win. If you liked Arsenal you would win $450 for every $100 you risked. If you liked the draw you would win $240 for every $100 wagered.
*The other betting line is the typical goal line
Manchester United - ½ -135
Arsenal + ½ + 105
Total 2 ½
In this case there is no draw option. If the game ends in a tie and you bet Manchester United, you lose. If you bet Arsenal then you are a winner. On the money line if you bet either team and the game ends up on a tie, you lose. Money is not refunded.
You may also bet over or under the total (Goals scored by both teams)
All bets are based on 90 minutes of regulation. Overtime doesn't count unless otherwise specified.
The leagues you have available to wager on are the English Premier League the Italian Serie A league, Spanish Liga, UEFA Champions League and various European leagues. You can also bet on the World Cup and US MLS.
Soccer betting is something you may want to consider if you are a big soccer fan, or if you have a working knowledge of the sport and the leagues. Many professional gamblers concentrate on soccer as their main source of wagering, especially outside of the United States . Soccer, or football as it is known in other countries, is extremely popular and many sportsbooks around the world take much more action on the sport than we would expect. You might want to consider adding soccer betting to your overall gambling menu of choices.
